The well-known Jakobsweg, which leads via Egg to the well-known parish church of St. Jakob in Villach, runs right next to apartments on the lake. Experience the fascination of this path without having to go all the way to Santiago de Compostela. The Marienpilgerweg, which connects all of the Marian shrines in Carinthia, also passes by in 15 minutes.
A hiking paradise for children is the Sonnenberg Gerlitzen, to which they can get to the summit with the Kanzelbahn. The climbing garden on Kanzianiberg or the high ropes course on Tabor, the local mountain of Lake Faaker, are more sporty. Nature lovers will find the best hiking conditions in the Dobratsch Nature Park or on the great Dobratsch circular hiking trail.
